Here is another mini doily/jar topper design I came up with. The other one can be seen here.
Doily is 5 inches in diameter and would fit a jar lid that's about 2 1/2 inches in diameter.

Rnd 2: Ch 4 (counts as dc and ch 1), (dc, ch 1) in each sc around, sl st on top of beg ch 3. (14 dc, 14 ch-1 sp)
Rnd 3: Ch 1 (2 sc, ch 1) in each ch-1 sp around, sl st in 1st sc. (28 sc, 14 ch-1 sp)
Rnd 4: Sl st to the next ch-1 sp, ch 2, dc in same sp, ch 5, 2-dc cluster in same sp, (2-dc cluster, ch 5, 2-dc cluster in next ch-1 sp) repeat around, sl st in 1st dc. (14 ch-5 loops)
